Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Is The Accelerated CNA Program?

The program includes orientation before five weeks of instruction and clinical training, plus a sixth week for make-up classes or testing as needed. Your selected cohort provides the exact dates.

What Is The CNA Class Schedule?

The starting schedule is Monday through Thursday: Morning (9 am–noon), Afternoon (1–4 pm), or Evening (6–9 pm). The academy can set different teaching days and times for each class option. Review the saved dates and times on the signup page, including orientation before teaching begins. Five weekend clinicals provide eight instructional hours each, with a separate 30-minute lunch.

How Much Does The CNA Program Cost?

The academy program price is $2,250. The $125 seat deposit is credited toward that amount, leaving $2,125. Review the cancellation and refund schedule before purchasing. Students pay SLED directly for their background check and Credentia separately for the state exam.

What Is Included, And What Do I Pay Separately?

See the current program details for instruction, training materials, and included resources. The physical exam, vaccinations, required clinical footwear, SLED background check, and Credentia state exam are separate student responsibilities.

What Are The CNA Admission Requirements?

Students must be at least 18. The CNA enrollment checklist guides you through contact information, emergency contacts, professional and personal references, agreements, a student-purchased background check, tuition, and health screening. Final admission requires academy approval. Ask admissions about any other eligibility questions before purchasing.

How Do I Complete My Background Check?

Purchase your report directly from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) through SLED CATCH. Pay SLED its current fee, then upload the full report in your student portal for academy review.

Is Level Up A CNA Testing Site?

The academy is a South Carolina NNAAP In-Facility and Regional Testing Site. Students arrange and pay for the state exam through Credentia; the exam fee is not included in academy tuition.

Do All Programs Require The CNA Enrollment Checklist?

No. The detailed enrollment checklist is only for Accelerated CNA. PCA, CPR, refresher, and other short courses have simpler registration requirements, explained on their own program pages.

Is PCA An In-Person Course?

PCA is currently an eight-hour, one-day in-person course priced at $297. Lunch is not provided. A virtual option is being considered and is not currently offered.
