CNA Cancellation & Refund Schedule

For programs covered by South Carolina Regulation 62-18:

Cancel within the three-day period
Full refund through midnight of the third day after signing the enrollment contract, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.
Application not accepted
Full refund of money paid to the academy.
After that period, before attending
The academy may retain no more than $100.
Withdraw after attendance begins
For first-time attendance, a prorated refund applies through the 60% point in time of the charged enrollment period. Remaining clock hours determine the unused portion for clock-hour programs; round that portion down to the nearest 10%, then deduct unpaid charges and an administrative fee of at most $100.
Withdraw after the 60% point
This prorated-refund requirement no longer applies. Other applicable rights remain.

Required refunds are paid within 40 days of the effective termination date. Prepaid books and supplies are refundable where recoverable under the rule. Later enrollment periods have additional protections for qualifying mitigating circumstances.

CNA refund examples

For the $2,250, 100-hour CNA course, these examples assume tuition is paid in full, withdrawal qualifies for the prorated schedule, and a $100 administrative fee applies. They exclude any other permitted adjustments.

Your $125 seat deposit is credited toward tuition, not retained as an additional fee. If you paid only that deposit, never attended, and cancel after the three-day period, at least $25 is refundable. During the full-refund period, all $125 is refundable.

The academy calculates your actual refund from your enrollment dates, recorded attendance, payments, and applicable charges. These examples do not replace full-refund rights. Background checks are purchased from SLED directly; the academy does not collect that fee.

To cancel or withdraw, send a signed, dated notice with your program, cohort, and last attendance date to info@leveluphca.com, or deliver it to the academy. Keep a copy and request acknowledgment. Do not include medical or background-check records.

Additional exceptions may be reviewed by the academy for extraordinary circumstances. Required refunds do not depend on discretionary approval.

Read South Carolina Regulation 62-18. The enrollment agreement and catalog must also disclose the applicable policy.
